This could mean many things. For one thing only Paul and the producer chose not to participate in the recording, possibly sex orgy was going on during the recording, that seems to fit with the LSD being part of the influence and that maybe John was bisexual and their manager was supposedly gay. And another is maybe this is about 1984 a novel by another British person. It's pretty dark, but maybe mixed with drugs, both stories could be true. Or it could be just experimenting, but it's fun to hear urban legends though and if John was alive to read this he'd leave that cunt Yoko Ono that eventaully broke up the Beatles LOL. |

I love the leslie speaker being used on this song, very trippy. Most of this album is about drugs, the rest is death and love. Most say this is the first song to use leslie speaker and the first Beatles album to be public about their drug use. Great song though and great album. |
