| Stone Sour – Omega Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"Deep," "Powerful," "Good Poet,"..... I found all these comments on this page. WTF? It's a random assortment of thoughts like Bloodmoth said. One might call this poetry, which I suppose it is, just in aural form. Is it a good poem? Not really that good or powerful or deep. It is the thought, 'What is life? Is life real? Does it matter?' that every 16-year-old has: in other words, not profound. Corey is not a wordsmith by any means either, nothing particularly intriguing in his language. The 'poem' sucks. The track is pretty good though, but I heard it before, "Scripted." Good album, it rocks, but abandon the idea that anyone who questions his existence is a genius. It's not true. |

| Tom Petty – Mary Jane's Last Dance Lyrics | 22 years ago |

It's probably not the true meaning of the song, but once when you listen to it, take all references to Mary Jane as literal references to weed. This weed was grown in Indiana, the marijuana plant that produced Mary Jane's seed was already smoked (she never was around). It was introduced to Tom, and he liked it (we both started groovin') but then Tom had to pass the joint along (keep movin' on). And finally putting on the party dress is putting the weed in the pipe. Again, this isn't the deepest interpretation or the real meaning of the song, but it's interesting how that translation runs through much of the song. |

| Good song that points out the hipocricies in America. | |
| Vertical Horizon – You're A God Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I think the song is about knowing that your partner is perfect in every way you can imagine, yet for reasons you don't even understand yourself, you keep messing things up over and over. Because of this you have to let her go so she can be happy. (thought I'd let you go.) Then when he says "Wish I could find the words to say never again no, no never again," he means that he really wants to stop ruining things but he knows he'll screw up eventually. Never again is just wishful thinking. | |

| This remix is the shit. | |
| Cold – Confession Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| The song's meaning has already been discussed, but another meaning it can have, at least for me, is that his girlfriend left him for another guy. He's pissed becuase he knows he's the better guy: "You think you're half as good as me?!" | |
| Tomahawk – God Hates A Coward Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| This song is hypnotizingly catchy, but that's not what makes it good. It's got a cryptic sound to it and the lyrics that I can understand are great. I can't wait to see Tomahawk open for Tool! | |
| Tool – Forty Six & 2 Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Here's how I interpret the song: "My shadow's shedding skin I've been picking scabs again" -He's accepting things that he normally thinks of as not him. His shadow is shrinking because there are fewer things he rejects. "Listen to my muscle memory. Contemplate what I've been clinging to. Forty-six and two ahead of me." -He's considering everything he rejects. He's accepting things, so he is coming closer to 46+2. "I choose to live and to Grow, take and give and to Move, learn and love and to Cry, kill and die and to Be paranoid and to Lie, hate and fear and to Do what it takes to move through. I choose to live and to Lie, kill and give and to Die, learn and love and to Do what it takes to step through." -He's choosing to do all these things, both things that he already accepts and things he pushes away, in order to evolve into the next step. "See my shadow changing, Stretching up and over me. Soften this old armor. Hoping I can clear the way By stepping through my shadow, Coming out the other side. Step into the shadow. Forty six and two are just ahead of me." -His shadow is changing because he, himself, is changing. It's stretching over him like it's consuming him. He opened the floodgate when he started embracing his alter-ego. He is hoping that by becoming everything at one time, he can evolve into a new consciousness. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Closer Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| The song is great. I think the idea of what it's about has been addressed. It's just a shame that NIN will forever be remembered by non-fans as a band that made a song about violent sex. | |
