I love this song. Everytime I hear it, I picture a guy dancing with a girl in the middle of a crowded room. They both want and love each other but they can't be together, because she has a boyfriend. And he's in the back of the room, watching their every move, about to break them up any second. But the moment they share, in the middle of the dance floor while this song is playing, is completely theirs and no one can't take it away from them. This song expresses everything that he can't say to the girl he loves. |

I think this song is just about how guys can feel really disconnected from their girlfriends. Or how sometimes your mate just says the wrong thing, but not purposely, so you push him or her away. And later on, you feel guilty about leaving because you have no idea why it bothered you so much. I know this happens to me a lot with my girlfriend. Sometimes, I get frustrated when I'm happy and she's depressed, because it ruins my good mood. Or if I'm depressed and she's happy, I can't talk to her, cause she makes me even more depressed. I don't know if that explanation helps, but that's my take on it. |

| The White Stripes – Little Room Lyrics

I think this song is talking about how the white stripes believe in keeping their unique sound (compared to all the other rock bands that are popular now). Its about staying true to their music despite their success and pressure from huge record companies and radio stations. I think the white stripes made a huge statement when they refused a $1 million deal to do a Gap ad. I really respect them for that. |
