i believe that this song is about kids bullying other kids. the band refers to him as 'st' joe, a saint being perfect, so he may be real smart, never in trouble etc. they tease him about his dad being gay and his mom a whore, even though this insn't true. good guitar riff |

i love this song. his voice is so powerful, so charismatic its beautiful. i agree with addictedjane, the video clip version of this song is heaps better, the stell drums are louder and perry's voice is heaps better. this is in my top 5 favourite songs of all time. its beautiful |
