This has to be my absolute FAVORITE song on the album. "Ain't Love Grand" got me hooked on Atreyu, but "Dilated" turned out to be the best song. Favorite lyrics:

This is probably my fav song from him. Great, great stuff. Not only is he absolutely talented, but he's not afraid to hold back in his lyrics (ie; "You're so fucking sweet"), even though he's not huge, and his debut album could very well make or break his career. Definitely worth the fifteen bucks for his album. |

My favorite song in the whole entire world. When I first heard this in the 1996 Romeo and Juliet, when Leo was sitting underneath the bridge-thing, smoking a cigarette and writing the poem, I knew it would be a cool song. If you haven't already, check it out! ;-) |

Another good song by Placebo. Not one of my faves, but I say the video to this one and it looked like Brian got the girl AND the guy, so...*applauds* Yay, Bri! Anyway, yes, screen dream, it WAS looped in a car commercial. I was babysitting and the kids were asleep, so I couldn't jump up and scream girlishly like I wanted to. It's great that, even though they don't radio play in the states (atleast they don't where I am), more Americans still listen to them. |

Beautiful, beautiful song. gabe ph is right; the Solace version is darker. The X-Files version is ALSO wonderful, though, and I can't help but love them both. I almost think of them as two entirely different songs, not just slightly diverse twins of each other. Excellent work, Sarah, I applaud you. |

Hmm...the song that got me hooked on VAST. I think it means that Jon's lost someone very close and he feels alone and afraid and lost..."somewhere in the Vast." lol. But anyway, this is the BEST song from VAST; either buy the CD or download it NOW! ;-) |
