This is a very beautiful song...Brian really has a beautiful voice...especially on this song and Suicide is painless....both of these songs are kind of like anthems to me. But, like Akasha said...It's about suicide...hence the title count to six and die. It's just about someone (in the song a girl) who's experienced nothing but the shitty parts of life. This song is pretty self explanatory really. I like the part where he says "some do it fast, some do it better in smaller amounts". To me this is saying some people kill themselves right away...like with a gun shot, or a hanging...or any other various way, while there are people who kill themselves slowly not only physically but emotionally that's where i fall into this song... |

I think that this song portrays the sense of egotism and how people's heads can swell up soo much that they think they're bigger and better then the whole world that surrounds them and there's always that one person who tries to make them see that they're really not that great at all....that's just what i think... this is a really kick ass song, and i really like Jack Off Jill. |

One of my few very good friends says that this song decribes me....and well i guess it does. With that in mind i think it's about a girl who's been torn apart by the world such as her parents and other influences, and that she's been hurt so much she just shys away from the world. And people just see her as a sadened creature who doesn't want to love...or can't...when all she wants is someone who needs her and can understand her the same way she can understand them.....i only say this because that is how my life is.... |

This is one of the view "love songs" manson has actually written...and even then it's not really a love song. I think it symbolizes the collapse of everything and prehaps two people who were seperated yet their love for eachother still holds true...and that no matter what may happen they'll always stay together even in spirit. This could be the meaning...but i have no idea. I think it also talks about the collapse of the one of the "lovers"....and how now that he's finally found his love his world is falling into a decadent spiral to which is will soon die... Maybe i'm wrong...that's just my opinion |
