it's so cool reading these comments b/c they make certain lyrics stand out so much more. i just really love david's writing. i don't know about anyone else, but this entire album just gives me this total feeling... haha. i can't exactly pinpoint the feeling, but it gives me goosebumps, for sure. i've come to really appreciate pedro the lion more, especially through this album. |

when i first heard this album, i was so shocked. i really thought pedro the lion had gone downhill and was moving away from the whole christian thing. but the more commentaries i've read on this album, the more i've come to love this album. i really like looking up these lyrics and coming to my own conclusions about them, as well as reading others'. i know a lot of christians who totally struggled over the meaning of this album and were debating on whether or not they should listen to it or recommend it to other people. i personally feel that david has grasped the freedom to create the way he does, and i admire that. there's so much that people want to pretend they don't experience, and i think it's awesome how david's touched on those issues. makes you really think about so much. |

This song is definitely awesome. I love how the lyrics are so creative. Without reading some comments on what they could mean, I could never even begin to think I know what they're about. I, personally, think that when a band "sells out", they change their style of music in order to fit into what the majority listens to, to gain popularity. I think Glassjaw has done nothing of the sort, but I'm sure most Glassjaw fans wonder why they're on MTV. All that aside, I think they're such a talented band, and I'm with you... I wouldn't even think about trashing Glassjaw solely b/c they're played on popular music stations and what not. They're a truly awesome band and they deserve whatever success they receive. |

Holy crap.. I've always heard of these guys, but I never really got a chance to hear them. I first heard this song in a promo with Coheed and Cambria. I nearly melted. I immediately went out and bought the CD. |

Well, I think labeling bands is just too hard these days. I leave that up to the folks that market the albums. Coheed has to be the most amazing band I've heard and seen. Their energy and expression on stage is also very amazing. And Coheed and Cambria are two characters in a sci-fi novel, but I'm not sure that Claudio is actually writing it. You all definitely need to check out these guys' live show.. it will blow you away. They usually play a brand new song, not on Second Stage Turbine Blade. It's like eight minutes of pure talent and friggin' rock. And Claudio will blow your mind with his vocals. |
