I agree a little with exhalesodeep even if it's not backed biblically. Ths bible isn't meant to be taken literally (even though many people do so) It's pretty easy to fit the words to Christianity
However - I don't think this was the intention.
Beyond the lyrics, what really makes this song so great to listen to is the climaxing and rolling lead guitar along with the vocals. Unbelievable ... maybe this is what made me think, "Jesus Christ!" |

Northstar is in fact the greatest band in the world. I used to think this of TBS, but i feel that Northstar is way more musically inclined and i love their chasing guitar riffs and melodic picks. It's just really refreshing to hear a break from just strait up power chords. |

Oh man oh man - this is one of the most well written songs ive heard in a while. i definetly agree that it's probably not about suicide. All i know is that it's saved me when i was in really streesful situations - im gonna get to the bottom of this... finally free from the ups and downs. gotta love it

Definetly a band. This song is made by the back-up vocals.... just wouldn't be the same otherwise - like most DB songs. Also, the harmonics at the beginning let you know you're in for some some great accoustic guitar, and you're not disappointed. Very well written by Rivers too. Holla |
