"This world is a beautiful accident"...I know just what she means. It feels like she wrote the song to fit it to me, you know? This is my new theme song! It's wonderful! And as for the song's meaning: I love it. "Anything but ordinary, please." Definately unlike most songs that you hear these days! Energetic, lively, everything that you would want to blast on your radio on the weekends. I hate being called ordinary. I hate being run-of-the-mill. I want to be myself, not who everyone says I should be. "I'd rather be anything but ordinary, please" That's what the song's about. :-) And the spirit is definate. No question. |

"They Say Vision/It takes you back to just where you want/Like when you ain't know no way" I think that perticular lyric is about remembering something that everyone else says isn't true, but it gives you hope. You know, like remembering something iggnorant that you did/said in your childhood. I also got this sort of conspirital creeping up my neck when I read this. "They Say Vision takes you back to where no conscience/Free from how you really see" Free from your conscience. Like someone telling you to kill an animal for sport, but you don't believe in that. Over all, the whole song is sort of about a idendity crisis and people leading you in the wrong direction. Very interesting and original point, with a fantastic beat and a stark point of reality. |

| This song would mean rock 'n' roll if it was Joan Jett's. Her version rocked ALL. I don't see why Britney (I have nothing against Britney, honestly) went and ruined it. She has nothing to do with rock 'n' roll so I don't see how she can 'love' it sooooo much to do a cover of this song. For all we know, she hasn't even listened to the Joan Jett version, because it had none of the genuine feeling. ::Sigh:: Go ahead and bash me for saying that, almost everyone does if I try to say that Britney's name is tarnished. But, honestly, IT IS. | |

I think Nightingale87 is partly right, but I get sort of a different vibe from: "I waited 'til I saw the sun /I don't know why I didn't come" It made me think of Romeo and Juliet. You know, like the parents stopped her from going to meet her lover? But she still could've climbed out the window, or something like that. I know it sounds weird, but I still feel like that. |
