We make him out to be such a great person that he would die for us. people who join organized religion seem to be looking for something more. They see christ as such a hero, and Maynard is making fun of how human we make him out to be. To do this he says in the simplest form. " he's dead and who cares. This song is percieved in alot of different ways. Basically this kid is walking around in this name brand shit trying to say he's OGT and telling Maynard he's a sellout. It is a statement Maynard is making saying how hipocritical it is to judge a person you don't know anything about, saying that he has sold out when everyone is guilty of it. "all you know about me is what i've sold you" The members of Tool are fucking artists, they don't need anyone trying to limit what they do or reduce it to "not good enough" |
