i just really listened to this song for the first time. i just thought it was kind of a pessimistic song at first when i didn't really listen to, but now that i have i see that he's saying everyone should live their lives. as everyone else has, said, haha. i definetely agree with everyone, this song is about making sure you have a full life, because, what if you did die tomorrow? it makes me realize that i shouldnt mope so much over small problems that i have, that i should just let these things go and have fun because i dont wanna spend my last day worrying about something stupid.. love and peace :) |

this a fun band that a friend FORCED me to listen to, now im glad he did. i love the dudes voice it just makes me wanna sing along ALL THE TIME and the music and lyrics live up to the vocals. i want more! this song is the only one i have.. |

its weird. i heard this song in my friends car, and thought it was aweasome, and forgot about it and the band. then my (other) friend said "allison, you would like keepsake" so i got onto songmeanings and looked up keepsake and just picked a song that sounded good (this one) and i was like.. "where have i heard this amazing song before?!" and it really is a fun, fun song. (by fun i mean excellent and not literally fun) anyhoo, its a very expressive song that i dont think anyone has trouble relating to. |

this song really describes exactly my present situation wtih my ex. im sure it does that for lots of people. and i think that "peter" might be someone inside yourself. *im tired of lying about not thinking of you* you just wanna get that person out of your life, out of your head. you know that they're really nothing THAT special now, but for some reason they still have this hold over you. its horrible. but breaking up does indeed suck, and thats why we need songs like this. love and peace. |

this song strongly reminds me of a relationship that ended a few months ago. "i bitch, cry, moan, whine, scream, and shout" and "or maybe ill just cry and hope you come around again today" and "sometimes even spock would show a little more emotion" anyhoo.. those are some lines that really reminded me of my last boyfriend. anyhoo, its a great song but my fav. on that album is still "are we there yet?"

i like the part about "i was sick of feeling down, so i gave it all away" it really seems to tell people that just feeling sorry for themselves will not improve their situation. if they wanna be happy and have a fun life then they need to go out and have a great attitude and just love the world. i have recently discovered how great it makes me feel just to give someone a hug and tell them that i love them. seeing my friend with her boyfriend no longer makes me feel insanely jealous but it makes me feel great to see love and happiness
