this song was from fiddler on the roof. what i want to know is the last two lines ("Where are you Arienette? Where are you Arienette?") in the original and that's where he got the name or did he add that?

i'm with "whitetide" . and to rebuttal my previous comment STD has grown on me. but rigth now i'm listening to bands such as The juliana theory , coheed and cambria, bright eyes.... the list goes on. i tell you all this so that if anything you will check them out (if you don't know them) and see if you like them and i think most of you will if you like the get up kids. |

Yeah i saw that show but on the 11th in Philly and it was one of the best shows i've ever been tto, all the bands rocked out and Coheed and cambria was awsome. though i never knew the lead singer kinda looks like Pele with the huge hair. hahahahaha they still rock

Lets be real. It's the Get Up Kids. they could do a CD of nothing but pop punk covers or boyband covers and i'd buy and more than likly love it becasue as of yet they have not done anything that i havn't like (and yes i have all of their cds). they're obviously my favorite emo band but not without reason. i think this new effort is great, though different from their previous releases it's no less their equal (save 4 minute mile cuz nothing rivals that) i applaud GUK for not sticking to thier previous formulas and trying new things. (and for teh record i'm not a saves the day fan even though i am from jersey. sorry children but STD just isn't as good as people make them out to be. they have great lyrics but lyrics make poetry. not music.) |
