| Alright so I saw these guys in Providence RI a few weeks ago, and before they started this song Matt Pryor was basically trashing Boston, and then went on to say that this song was about moving to Boston. I dont know if it is or not, but to me this song is about doing something that you really really don't want to do, and it'll fuck things up in your life, but deep down you know it'll be better in the long run...Another thing, this song as well as the entire new album are a lot different than the GUK older stuff, but it's just the band adapting and changing, so everyone stop saying it sucks. It doesn't. On a Wire isn't Four Minute Mile, but it's got its advantages over the older stuff, as well as its disadvantages. Look at The Anniversary, Your Majesty didn't sound anything like Designing a Nervous Breakdown, but it was a good different sound. That's exactly what's happened with On a Wire so everyone lighten up. I'm off my soapbox. | |
