this songs does me in too. i am at a confused time in my life. as in round here ive contemplated jumping. i also contemplate of leaving and going some odd thousand miles away. I try to find out why or where these ideas come from but the mood in the song reflects mine right now. we all know the grass is always greener on the other side until we get there. then we see that the grass wasnt so bad where we came from. i have 2 choices to make and either way im gonna miss making the one i didnt. but now im rambling so ill close.... |

LMAO @ Captain!!!!! Nothing to do with aids LMAO!!!! The only thing is he stays at home with his disease LMAO!!!! So what makes you ASSume that he is talking about aids LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it is a pretty sweet chillin song. Mandalor pretty much sums up a good meaning for the song. I sure wish more people would post on these songs. some of these are my favorites.... |

You all should go to Kazaa or Morpheus and download some of the live boot-legs of this song. He adds parts. there are 2 versions that are over 10 minutes long each. they are so much more amazing than ANY of the album or live album versions. You find them by searching for the song titles and then looking at the file sizes and song lengths. there are 2 for sure that are over 10 minutes long. one is a live in paris in '94 and im not sure of the origins of the other but its like 10:51 long. |

Hey if you really think about it this song practically describes 9-11. it can be interpreted that way. Especially the lines about the self righteous suicide and crying when angels deserve to die. And then in the end where hes asking why hes been forsaken. And as I recall this song was even big at the time that happened. It was all over the radios here. But thats just my two cents... |
