ok, enough about the beatles. in my opinion, this song is about how strongly this guy feels for some girl. but everything would be too complicated and it would mess things up if he told her how he felt. good song, good subject. if you have someone that is your "wonderwall" you'll understand. if you don't, then you should. everyone should have a "wonderwall" in their life. at least someone they can tell everything to. it helps a lot. |

according to raine maida, this song is about the idea of superman, and how it is dead. he said it's about the idea of the stereotypical 1950's, being a gentleman, morals and such, and how they are dead in today's society. for example, you never see a bunch of kids go out to toss around a football anymore. all our innocence is gone and there's no one to protect us anymore. |

i agree that the song is about the everyday stresses of life. i think the "yoga class for cats" thing could be like an example of the frustrations we deal with everyday. wouldn't you be confused if you saw a sign that said that? |
