i've heard this is related to the paul is dead theory (i'm very interested in it if anyone wishes to share clues). supposedly when humpty dumpty fell off the wall he said "goo goo g'joob" in some version. paul is the walrus on the cover on magical mystery tour so he is the one cracking his head like humpty dumpty...i know its weird and i don't entirely believe it but i thought it was interesting |

john wrote this song in the middle of the night. he had the melody stuck in his head he tried using his meditation chant to fall asleep but he ended up adding it to the song... amazing song |

i had heard that this song was part of the paul is dead hoax. the way i heard it was that he was staring at a meter maid while driving and crashed thus the lines "he didn't notice that the lights had changed". some of the lines in this song wouldn't relate to the theory at all though... |

tankgirl- i think the "and when august..." line means she wouldn't wear a bathing suit and a cotton cloak would be regular clothes..maybe baggy because cloaks are generally large...thats always what i've assumed the line meant |
