Just saw them in concert last night... words do not do justice, and I think only someone who has seen them can know what I mean. I was a huge fan before the concert, but now there is this whole new dimension added to it all. It helped that I was so close that I got some of his spit on me! You guys know he has this "problem" with spitting all over the damn place when he sings. But, being so close I could see every expression in his face mirror all the events he sang about. And yes, he sang this song. And yes, it was beautiful.. it was perfection, wonderfully flawed and broken.

I absolutely loved the way DMB played this song when I saw them a while ago. At the end Dave started singing, "Honey, honey... come and dance with me." It was so soulful and lovely! I agree with DmB182, it is definitely a pick me up. |

I love this song... the lyrics are so thoughtful. "You could distinguish Miles from Coltrane" has to be my favorite line, though I'm not sure why.

I've been a DMB fan for many years, now, but some how I had never gotten around to buying Remember Two Things. Damn, I'm glad I finally did, because this song has quickly become my favorite. The lyrics are soul-melting, and are delivered by a very powerful voice. One cannot help but smile and yet still feel a bit sad at the history behind it. |
