I don't think this has to do with religion
My interpretation is that the "She" is mother nature. The place where she doesn't wander is our modern cities. Mother nature doesn't venture there but we are all forced into going to the city. It is pretty much impossible now for someone to live among nature and not have to enter into even a small town.. |

I don't see how people see this song as something between a father and daughter.
The lyrics say that they went out on a date in his dad's car...
This has to do with young love.. it makes you think of what could have been. These two lovers could have been happily married but death came and took her away from him. He misses her so much and he is blaming himself.
This song just makes you think about the people you love and how easily they can be taken from you and how much you will miss them when they are gone. |

I believe this has to do with the human race as a whole. The way I see it we are all heading in the wrong direction. We care about material things before the lives of others. The goals for people's lives are to get rich and have a big house. No one even cares about raising a good family anymore. |

This song could mean two things.. I believe that it is about a relationship in which both of the people know it is not going to work out. Stephen is trying to say to the girl that things will not work ever.. but if she doesn't want it to end he doesn't want it to either.
The Tatoo of the Sun is about a tatoo a woman has on her stomach. When Stephen reveals things about the tatoo it also reveals that this women either had an abortion or a miscarriage. There is also arguements that she could have had the baby. But from the lines, "once carried a baby for a while", we know she lost it somehow. |
