ok, the song that they have written the tribute to is Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, but you only hear a variation of that song in the acoustic version from the HBO episode. the acoustic version of this song is SOOOO much better than the album version, but that applies to almost all of their songs - the addition of the drums and the slick performances on the album just take something away from the originals. if u haven't yet, go download the episodes from somewhere and watch them cuz they're all spiffykewl. oh, and these guys r awesome in concert - i saw 'em w/ Weezer and Jimmy Eat World, and it was frickin' great. |
