Call me crazy (or wishful thinking) but I believe this song is to his fans. Why I say this is because of these lines: Are you lookin' for answers To questions under the stars And if along the way You are growing weary You can rest with me until a brighter day, you're okay I think this is him telling us that his songs he writes because that's what he does. He's not trying to solve everyones' problems or give everyone answers because he doesn't have any answers, but if we want to relax and listen to his music and enjoy life for a moment, then he is more than happy to do that for us. Where WE are is where HE belongs. (and I certainly agree with that) Just my opinion. |
