| i don't doubt that Darren says this is his favourite song that he's written. in fact, i'm glad to hear that he likes the song. personally, "good enough" seems to be the one decent song on Spin...everything else seems rather artificially sugar-coated. "good enough" contains the sense of truth that all the other songs lack. i think it's about how we try so hard some times, but we never really seem to be "good enough" for somebody else. kinda like linkin park's "in the end", but displacing the anger with a kind of sadness that lets truth seeps out. i love it :) | |
