yeh i agree definetly one of my 3 fav bands very innovative sounds but wtf does this song mean lol. it confuses the F*** outta me i understand parts but i dont understand who he is refering to when he says "The storming of poor June, All the life running through her hair" although i'm pretty sure "Your lives are open wide, The V-chip gives them sight, " means that u r not thinking on your own and influenced by certain "restraints" |

creed continually makes allusions to god throughout this piece liek almost every other ones of their songs. but whether u take to see the song through its 1st or 2nd "layer" it is up to u. i think by writing their songs this way creed means to show a profound spiritualness in life and its happenings. i hope this song becomes their next huge hit |

| agreed myownprison i have listened to countless radio interviews with creed and every interview i have ever heard with these guys they stay very far away from the "are u a religious band?" question. this band is profoundly spiritual and i personally feel in their 3rd cd that the lyrics as a whole are more wholesome and resolute as opposed to the toilsome and troubled my own prison cd. heh doesn't mean i don't miss the days of the angry troubled creed though. :( /cry | |
