This is going to go against all my principles as an official Heartless Bitch, because usually I hate songs that are like, "I'm nothing without you, I need you, I'm incomplete without you, blah blah blah" but I like this song. Maybe because it reminds me of the guy I dated this summer. We broke things off amicably because I was going back to school, which is 6 hours from what I call home and we still talk occasionally but I still miss him like hell. And I WOULD do anything just to fall asleep with him or hold him in my arms one more time. Grr.....:( |

Haha, this song brings back memories....my friend Evan was in NHS (National Honor Society) in high school and my friend Sarah and I "bought" him for Senior Slave Day. We dressed him up in a leopard teddy (over his clothes!) and made him walk around the halls of school singing this song at the top of his lungs!! Ahhh, good times, good times :) |

This is a nice little addendum to City Love. To me, it's about a guy who is with a girl who's not necessarily the best thing for him but he doesn't really care because he likes her. It's about loneliness and how good it can feel to be with someone, even if they're not the "best" for you. |

Oh my God, this is hands down one of my absolute favorite John Mayer songs!! He has once again written a perfect song, and the line, "There's something bout the way the hair falls in your face, I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcase, you tell me where to go and though I might leave to find it I'll never let your head hit the bed without my head behind it" gives me shivers. It's just a sweet song and it doesn't help that John Mayer is damn sexy too:p |
