well whoever posted this lyric wasn't to aware that there is another verse on the Cheer Up CD. here it is: Always talkin but i never say a lot And I'll blow it if i get another shot Cause it seems like no matter what I've got it feels like it's nothin, I feel like I'm nothing. That's my favorite lyric (besides something corporate "konstantine") punkskater, i agree, he is leaving his gf who loves him as a hero. But this verse sort of explains his esteem problem and why he has to leave her. He feels like no matter what he does or how many chances she gives him to "not be trusted with anything" he can't do anything right. and he feels like he is nothing because he can't find love in a girl that thinks so highly of him. Good song, and a damn fine CD, get it today. |

I think that the author wants someone to love him... "I wanted so badly Somebody other than me Staring back at me But you were gone I wanted to see you walking backwards And get the sensation of you coming home I wanted to see you walking away from me Without the sensation of you leaving me alone " he wants to know that that person will be back to him even when she is leaving. but he has a conflict with whether that is what he wants or if he just wants to be single and have a person love him for who he is. that is what this song means to me. |
