Relient K have only gotten better with their song writing. Their first couple albums don't compare at all with the maturity that exists in their songs now. |

i'm not sure what this song means, but it has the most powerful chorus i've ever heard, the guitar work and the melody is really the best i've heard. and the solo...omg, don't get me started on the solo. when matt uses the whammy pedal and slides on the guitar. sends shivers down my spine. best muse song ever. |

ok, lets break this term down. "Emo"....the word 'emo' is a short version of 'emotional', correct? yes i am. If music doesn't have emotion it sucks. How can you NOT have emotion and play in a band. If the music isn't emotional, i don't want to listen to it. Every band has emotion behind it, slipknot has emotion, korn has emotion, taking back sunday has emotion, nsync has emotion....i think. but the point is every band is an emo band if you look at it that way. |

i'm not rivers, but i think he did that because of the irony behind this lyric 'what could you possibly see in little ol' 3 chord me?' Rivers uses the musical library in this song, A through G#. Also rivers can shred just as well as some of the other guitarists out there. i'm not trying to stick up for rivers cos i think he's a dick because he doesn't like his fans. but i still like their music... |
