I think that the song is saying that some record companies are just trying to make money, switching between different bands. They're saying that the old bands that were good are still good too and that "nothing changes if nothing changes." You have to stay loyal to your people. Awesome song, I love these guys. Great music in this one. |

i agree with jessica. i love the song, but i dont get it. when they were introducing it they said "sometimes a special someone comes into your life with the power to change it all. this song is about that someone" I thought it was a love song...i guess i was mistaken. awesome song though |

This song, along with Motorcycle Drive by and Wounded, is the best 3EB song. Like just about everyone else said, they have great lyrics. These three songs are the greatest. |

Bobo is right, the song has multiple meanings. Listen to the Smashing Pumpkins' last CD, "Machina, Machines of the Gods" and read Corgan's fable "Glass and the Machine of God". Then, you will see the hidden meaning to this song. The song is about a boy named Zero who changes his name to Glass. A lot of crazy stuff happens to Glass after that, but I'll let you figure it all out. Go to their web site, smashingpumpkins.com to read the story. This is one of their best songs. The intro rocks. |

this song is so great, "there shined a shiny demon". yes, the "best song in the world" is Stairway to Heaven. After they start playing the best song in the world they play the intro to stairway. you have to listen because they speed it up about 5 or 6 times the origional speed, but it's there. |

First, I'm 17 and have known about this masterpiece for years. Great song. It combines elements of all types of music, which makes it so versatile. I'm still trying to figure out what it means to me, but i agree with what alot of these previous statements say. |

First of all, this is probably one of my favorite blink songs ever. their new stuff is alright, but give me chestire cat and dude ranch. the songs about being alone. no one calling you, no one to hang out with. everyone goes through this at sometime in their life, and it sucks. |

i think billy's talking about the misdirected youth during the time. the youth think that they are invincible and are also doing many dangerous things. experimenting with drugs and sex. i think a stumbleine is a person that you can come to with your problems. billy is saying that if you have a problem, your friends will be there for you. |
