Maybe it's just me, but I swear it sounds like Jesse's singing with him on this one. Which would make the "tiger's paw" a nice allusion to Fork & Knife "tigers in the cage, pacing on our pads". There are two blurry people in the picture for this song on his myspace. Could be Jesse. Or, you know, I could just be wrong. |

So many errors in this version. 1: The first "semicharmed kind of life" in each chorus should be followed by ", baby. Baby," 2: Should be, "And when the plane came in" with the "And". 3: Should be "Those days" instead of "The days" you were wearing that velvet dress. 4: "and you hold me" not "now you hold me". 5: "I want to do just a little now I feel myself coming off the ground I'm scared I'm not coming down". And there are a few more that feel like they might be errors too. Sorry, but I love this song and I want everyone to read the correct lyrics. Especially on that last part--because I love how he's saying that he feels the high coming on to a degree that he feels like he's floating(not literally--if you've done meth you know what I mean)off the ground, and the high is giving him that creepy "whoa, i'm so high--am I even gonna come down?!" feeling we get every once and awhile. |

I love this song. If you've ever done meth, you'll know what he's talking about in almost every line. I would sing it when I was a kid, and didn't know what it meant. I agree with Rocky_Mc0wnage quite a bit on this one. I'm into punk, hardcore, emo, ska and all that. But this songs MUSIC especially is catchy, maybe not talented but catchy. What I don't get is when punk's say not to conform. But then do the same thing themselves. They won't buy certian trendy clothes, they won't listen to trendy music...NOT because they don't like it alot of the time...but because "OMG MY FWIENDS WONT TINK I'M PUNK E-NUFF!" Heh. I just don't get it. If someone LIKES this type of music, and isn't just buying into it since it's mainstream...then you should leave them alone. I'd rather see a kid that HONESTLY loves rap, then a POSEUR punk :P *note: MTV is lame...it takes good bands and gets thousands of kiddies acting like they know EVERYTHING about the freaking groups, it sells stupid images, makes people more shallow, sets up trends and is not about the music anymore *double note: Moon River is a fucktard, if you don't have anything NEW to say...don't say a fucking thing. |
