yeah action and action, i hear all your points the parts do refer to antonio almost directly, in a lot of parts, it seems. also the "what will it take to make you admit that you were wrong"(for leaving the band?) part. it also refers to being what girls want; in essence, girls want guys who are literate,stylish,kissable,quiet...now maybe antonio was involved with a girl at the time or trying too hard to be what they wanted, just a guess. it could be double meaning antonio/ and or lyrics about being what girls want, also. who knows, i wrote way too much and i'm seeing them at the knitting factory on the 25th so it'll be cool. -laaaaaate |

this is probably the best demo song ever, the song is on tell all you friends, i know. but it was originally on a 11 song demo also containing antonio tracks, all of which sounded more raw than the tell all your friends style. i like the raw version, it's all TBS, and no producers. |

i'd say i gotta disagree with getupkid211. when adam says "this won't mean a thing come tomorrow, and that's exactly how i'll make it seem", he's referring to the lines he said just before:"but i love the way you'd roll excuses off the tip of your tongue as i'd slowly fall apart", hence the fact that even though this girl is treating him like shit, he won't let her know that it's eating him up inside. yeah, that's what i'm sayin. |

this song strikes me from the guy's point of view of course...he's in some kind of relationship with a "rad" girl he thinks of a lot. they had a great someething going, but it's starting to fade, which makes him wonder why he still hangs around her. the girl, as a lot of others do, wants him to follow her while she plays hard to get, but he doesnt bite the bait, playing the game. tell me if i'm wrong, but i think most of you know how this can be. |
