Vanessa is EXTREMELY talented and no, I don't think that she is a carbon-copy of Michelle Branch. Michelle is DEFENITELY not an "artist" (if you could honestly call her that) worthy of being a fan of - that's my opinion. I mean, guys, Vanessa wrote her own music, and Michelle, her first hit, had the EXACT melody and music to that song called "Stranded", only just with different words that I could've shot her for. I mean, they were so unoriginal and she swapped the original and hauntingly beautiful words to "Stranded" and replaced them with bimbo words that all pop songs say. She SUCKS!! And Vanessa is the only one original in this picture and she (unlike the unoriginal Michelle) is truly talented for not-only being able to sing, but playing an instrument in her song and writing her own stuff (not stealing from others) |

well, I say,SgtPepper, the more people catching onto that beautiful meaning, the better! And P.S. - I LOVE the beatles!! *^_^*;;; Most of the kids at school think I am soooo weird for it, cuz I'm almost 15 and stuff and still into oldies, but I think they're cool.
But anyways, I'm glad that DMB believes in that meaning of love, too. :-D |

This song, I believe is about love (okay, yes, DUH!!) LOL. Well, anyways, I don't believe it's only about guy/girl love and stuff, because if that were the case with love being only that, I'd...be...uhm, I love my Dad, okay? Ew, what a thought... Anyhow, DMB's view on love is kindness and caring for people, especially when they are lonely, and what I think that guy in the music video was doing by hugging everyone was gaining love and giving love, and that appeared to be what he did everyday as a normal "work" routine. But geez! He felt that love is all he needs to love.
I never thought I'd talk so much on my first post. But anyways, this song is SO good, and I love it's meaning, or atleast what I get from this song. It makes me reflect on myself too, ya know? Well, cya later! |
