this song is so great, because it's making a complete mockery of pop bands. yes, it's pop-y, but i think that's part of the point: you get the pop fans to listen to something that's completely ripping on them, and they probably don't even realize it.

at this point in my life, NOTHING seems to make any sense anymore, especially with members of the opposite sex. i love the line "all will be forgiven in time." it's just a constant reminder that no matter how much things seem to suck, eventually it'll be alright, and that the confusion will clear and i'll understand everything. |

i can completely relate to this song. he's either in love or infatuated with someone, and he wishes that he could be all of these different things so he could be ANYTHING to her. she either doesn't treat him well or the feelings aren't mutual - "your tired words are all the same." he knows it's a bad situation, but he's such a "sucker" for her, so he can't "walk away." :) |

my ex told me that he would always think of me when he listened to this song. i was very much in love with him, but i never thought he really liked me that much. the line "i'm not ready for this sort of thing," i bet that's how he felt. i guess it just takes me back to that relationship. |
