ok maybe im gettin this wrong but i dont think "peter" is a real friend he is talking about, "my friend Peter who lives so fucking far away yet not as far as you even though you live right down my fucking street" i think that would make peter himself i believe, and that kind of alter ego you get when you just got fucked over, where you dont want do go anwhere or do anything, but when you talk to people you want to put on the act you are fine, and doing fine hangin out with "peter" quite often. when in actuality its all about "I'm tired of sleeping with myself I'm tired, all those drinks and drugs no longer help im tired of lying about not thinking of you" but in the end "my friend Peter can tell me what to do" |
