This song to me is about god and his/your relationship w/ him. your striving for perfection and no matter how hard you try you'll never get there. but just when you want to give up the sky opens up and hes there. he helps you up gives you your answers very subtle and breathes new life into your soul. ......oh and the last three lines is how i feel about my ex....oh well
