BTW, it's pronounced "Brom-rahr". This is from Hammer of the Gods by Stephen Davis. The actual name of the cottage was "Bron-Yr-Aur". Not sure why it was spelled "Bron-Y-Aur" in the title of this song. |

It seems to talk about the inherent pains of love. "She broke your throne and she cut your hair" "It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah" "Love is not a victory march". Love makes so many beautiful promises and it will always disappoint in the end. Rather depressing, but very beautiful. |

I always thought it was a warning against the adverse affects of extasy. Being a techno artist, Stephan is no doubt exposed to use of Extasy on a regular basis. The real hint here is "Feel the need for love grow stronger." That's one of the key affects of X. The point of the song is that if you keep using X, it'll use up all your serotonin and rob you of your ability to be happy. Then you're left with only paranioa. |

I gotta say something about the third passage. It's tricky because of his accent, but it makes a little more sense this way:
It's time to confess,
And look you in the eyes.
I need you to forgive,
And make this tragic feeling go away. |

I have to agree with rynlee on this one. It's a song of celebration. Thank God for the precious gift he's given you in life. |

This song speaks to me of the fact that the true purpose of life is only what we can take with us when we leave it. Technology advances, civilizations grow, but in the end, it's our experiences and what we've learned that justify our existence. "If I would shed my skin, the layers left, but NOT the lessons learned, it would not undo what I have done." Life is not what you accomplish, but what you see along the way. The journey > the destination. |

I don't think the song necessarily refers to someone who has died, it seems to me it's about a failed relationship. Even though it didn't work out... he's gotten to a point where he can look back at the good times they had together without having to dwell on the pain caused by the breakup of the relationship. |

wow said_corpse.... you've read entirely too much into this song. It seems that it's simply a story of someone who has made mistakes in his past who wants to do what he can to make sure others don't mimick his folly. |
