i wanted to go to creation soooo bad! seriously, it had newsboys, AND rk, how much better does it get? too bad it was in P.A.
okay, all my siblings in Christ, i think we've made our point. Jesus's involvement in a song does not destroy it, but enchances it. but being all judgemental and stuff isn't going to change anyone's mind. i think it's time we start acting with love. but that's just my opinoin. |

i've noticed something with most of the christians, a bunch of you guys have the "us vs. them" attitude. Jesus's message isn't "those who believe are superior". everyone is a sinner. including christians. no one was born a christian, either. the only difference between "us" and "them" is grace. try and remember that Jesus loves "them" too, okay? -a sister in Christ

i didn't say that they did, i just said that the rk songs that i've heard that aren't about their beliefs aren't particularly deep. and i've only heard three songs from their first cd -hello mc fly, wake up call, and softer to me.
also, i've never really heard of th *0's...so this is kinda new to me. |

i've only heard this song once or twice, but it makes me want to buy rk's debut cd. i only have the anatomy, but on the anatomy, i noticed that when rk's songs stray from their beliefs they tend to lose their meaning. with lion-o, it's a great song and all, but what does it actually mean? i'm a christian, and i don't find anything at all wrong with singing about what you believe in. seriously now, if someone saved you, wouldn't you show your appreciation? that's what rk's doing by singing about God and Jesus. They're showing their appreciation. which is perfectly fine.
and why shouldn't there be christian rock? music that's God-centered does not have to be limited to the church. and this has been said before, but no one is actually forcing you to listen to it. |

i think this song is awesome, and it's kind of bittersweet. it has this chorus that's straight forward, and the wording throughout the song is almost humerous, but it's about someone dying.
i was reading an interview and the inspiration is, "breakfast is the most important meal of the day. there should be a song about it". |

this song's best feature is it's simplicity. it's just a simple praise and worship song, and it serves it's purpose. in my opinon, it's one of the best ones off of thrive. |
