I think GrafetePymp is kind of on point with the meaning of the song. I think that its about this girl that has all these issues, or 'ties', that she needs to work out before things can be right between them. Jack is tired of trying to help her deal with it that he thinks he's being 'lazy' and that is 'standing in his way'. Until this girl gets her self in check he's going to have to be a "Flake" like her. |

You shoulda been watchin him - apparently you ain't parents" Shows how if parents would actually parent then Eminems lyrics wouldnt influence kids like they say they do. |

In my opinion this is probably one of Em's best songs lyrically. My favorite on the Slim Shady LP. It makes a great story and his lyrics are so strong that you can picture exactly whats happening. |
