The Offspring – Stuff Is Messed Up Lyrics 16 years ago
I'm 25 and in-between being young and old. And I can tell you, this should be the damn anthem of the year, decade, whatever.

Shit is fucked up. Seriously, it is. It states the obvious, like most Offspring songs, and yet, like most Offspring songs, it does so in an awesome way. (The Offspring has a way--for me, at least--of doing things like that. S.M.A.S.H. was, if you're honest, one song, repeated over and over, with minor changes. And yet was so amazingly awesome, I could listen to it over and over and not get tired of it. Other bands have done this, and it's sucked. Dexter et al. are geniuses at making the familiar sound--maybe not new, but--awesome.) Anyway. I love this CD, except for the damn Kristi song (Kristy?) and Nobodytown. And even Nobodytown is okay, except that I swear it's Green Day with Dexter singing.

The Offspring – Sin City Lyrics 16 years ago
Yeah, I know everyone loves AC/DC, and their instrumentals may have much merit . . . but I just can't get over the shitty vocals. And their songs don't move me. At all. Weird. Unlike Smashing Pumpkins, where I love a ton of their songs, but can't stand Billy Corgan's vocals. Yes. I'm a heretic.

I want to listen to this song--maybe then I'd have a right to say something. But I'd take Dexter's vocals any day over the original AC/DC vocals. No idea on the instrumentals, though.

The Offspring – You're Gonna Go Far, Kid Lyrics 16 years ago
Worthless comment, I know, but holy shit this song kicks a lot of ass. This album has replaced Conspiracy of One as my second favorite (S.M.A.S.H. being the first, of course). I'm pumped.

Chromeo – Tenderoni Lyrics 16 years ago
I have a Tenderoni. She's tasty. And she likes the song. It makes her butt move to the beat.

I just broke up with my girlfriend of two years (off and on again), and this describes our relationship perfectly...it's pure genius.

System of a Down – Science (feat. Arto Tunçboyacıyan) Lyrics 21 years ago
Hey, OwnPersonalDemon...I'm just curious as to why you think Christianity and Science are contradictory, and also as to why you put CHRISTIAN Science as opposed to Jewish Science, Islamic Science, etc...not that I'm trying to insult you or anyone here, there's been too much hatred injected into this conversation which could be enlightening to everyone...I would say that Christianity (or any other religion, for that matter) and Science could very well be COMPLIMENTARY to each other, since faith and religion tend to answer "Why" while Science asks (and many times answers) "How." (Well, this is the way I feel it should be, I could be wrong, eh?)
We should also make a quick note that Christianity the RELGION, Christianity the FAITH, and the Biblical teachings of the Christian Messiah are all different things, though admittedly related. I've noticed that religious people of any religion tend to be the ones who least represent their actual teachings, while people of any faith tend to be great people and represent their teachings well. And hey, who doesn't like teachings of any spiritual leader, be it Jesus or Buddha or any other teacher, who stresses that one purpose of life is to not be an asshole to others?
Science is cool, faith is cool; hate ignorance and arrogance have no place in the human soul/heart/mind/psyche/spirit/whatever.

And if I just repeated what others have said earlier, forgive me, I didn't feel like reading through all 100+ posts...And I'll shut up now.
