i agree with blinkster this song isnt about a girl and a boy its about the end of the world and when u listen to it, it makes you realise about how close we r to another war and tom sings about all those times he will regret and all those times he will remember. been up all night long counting days that all went wrong ....I remember amazing birthdays I remember when I was young i dont know where u got boy girl bullshit not every song in toms history has been about girls give the guy a chance to write about something a lil more political/social than a teeny bopper relationship |

This song is great and really reminds me of one of my friends. Hes a right pleb and wants everything hes own way. "You want everything. You want it all. I can see it in your eyes." Thats just like him he works off all our friends and only likes the one who has something to offer him at the time he basucally uses us i dont know why we hang round him. "you'll surround yourself with everyone who says what you need to feel all right everyone who speaks the words that make you perpetually contrived" thats just him completely. I think this song is about a person just like my "friend". Someone who is weak and insecure and just focuses completely on himself. |
