You probably can get it at Best Buy. After the Garden State Soundtrack I think they became 'big enough' to be found in most CD stores. |

i actually saw them live in early 2006, and afterwards ended up emailing them and asking them what the lyrics were for this song. this is what they replied to me, and what the correct lyrics are.

we take these things like all things: assume they always work. they're here because we need them, filling holes we never could. One more thing, I beg you: some insight if you could? How to take and own it, when it's not quite understood?....

i think it's saying she was feeling free, uninhibited. then she met someone, and she wanted to give them a try. and she's saying 'you really mean a lot to me'. |

this makes me miss my true love. because i'm living in his letters, words, and phrases, and that's all i have until two years from now when we can be together. but it's worth the waiting.
and i think this song is saying how i feel. it's WORTH it. |

This song is amazing. I think the guy is saying that he gave up everything for someone, cared so much about them, and then that someone threw it all back into their face. And now he's saying that he's giving up caring and wanting them back and wanting them to care, because the person only hurts him and pushes him away and hurts him. |

I'm agnostic too, heh. But I feel, in my opinion, this song is about a significant other. And he's just saying how much he cares for her, and saying "how can I be here with you and not feel anything?" And he's saying it's perfect, "how could it be better than this?"
This song was in Smallville twice, in the first episode (Pilot) when Lana and Clark dance in the barn, and in the last of the first series (Tempest, I believe), when Lana and Whitney dance together in the empty dance hall. I had heard this song before, and when I saw it on the Pilot episode, I cried, just because now the song has a whole different meaning to me, and a whole different memory. Everytime I listen to the song, I remember exactly what happened with Lana and Clark.
I know, I'm a Smallville obsessed. : ) |

I'm agnostic, so I don't exactly agree that it's about God. But, either way, it's about a certain someone taking him somewhere, and not intentionally meaning it, but hurting him. And he's saying that if there was reassurance of the person's existance, then he'd be fine. That's just what I see. |

This song, to me, says that he feels like he's not himself, and that he isn't even alive. In the sense that he's actually someone else. He feels, perhaps, as if the society around him has gotten too close to him to the point where he's becoming another "nobody". That's what it sounds like to me. |

This song definately means a lot to me. It describes how knowing my boyfriend "feels the same as I do" is completely a "three-fold utopian dream". As well, it describes how I miss him just being there with me, and how our distance hurts us so much. And also, how I wish I could reassure him that he means the world to me. This is definately about a long-distance relationship. |
