actually addictedjane, Puff Daddy (retard) did have Jimmy Page (god) play guitar on "Come With Me"...they played together on Saturday Night Live and In the video you can clearly see Jimmy Page rocking out beside Puff Daddy...and by the way that Rage Againist The Machine song ("Wake Up" also on The Matrix soundtrack) does sound exactly like the riff Page did on "Come With Me" or like the main riff "Kashmir" with more distortion...

at first I never knew wha this song meant I just thought it was awesome but after reaing this I felt like I was in almost the same situation
I have a friend who is Asian (not half-Japanese) who does play the cello (great I might add) who I am deeply attracted to but I just cannot find any way to tell her and it is so hard to look at her ('Cuz I can't even look in your eyes Without shakin', and I ain't fakin') b/c I just want to confess my feelings but im afraid she'll rejec me and our friendship will never be the same. I am stuck.

the first album, "Foo Fighters", was fuckin awesome
the second album, "The Colour and the Shape" (or TCATS), was wicked awesome and their best one to date (it was also filled with chart toppers and many Fan Favorites i.e. "Everlong, Walking After You, My Hero, Hey Johnny Park!, and Monkey Wrench)
and their last album, "There Is Nothing Left To Lose" (or TINLTL), was not well recieved only b/c the first and second were so much better
*I'll even admit that even though I dont think they went mainstream and some of my favorite songs are Headwires, Stacked Actors, and
Next Year I thought that TINLTL was sort of a let down |

Actually I heard that Dave said "['My Hero' is] my way of saying that when I was young, I didn't have big rock heroes, I didn't want to grow up and be some big sporting hero. I think this is one of their best songs and I think it is about a guy who doesn't care about life until one day a voice inspires him to be confident ("If you build it they will come"- Field of Dreams) thus the quote "It said seize the day, pull the trigger, drop the blade, and watch the rolling heads" but he did the wrong things and failed and felt worse than ever before and he thinks that he says "I should have stayed in bed". |

Though I may be totally wrong I believe this song is about a man battling with his good and evil sides (devil and angel) but either way this is my favorite Foo song I just think the rawness of Dave Grohl's voice and the drum solo in the intro is amazing! |
