i can totally relate to this song because i know some people who just completely bring me down whevever i'm around them. yeah, you know who you are... maybe not even people sometimes, but certain places, certain mentalities, and certain situations are just destructive. sometimes i don't realize it until i look back at them, but i can usually tell what one of those "lurking shadows" is by the huge amount of relief and joy that i feel when i've distanced myself from it for the first time. i jost broke free from another one of those recently. felt really good. i tip my hat to you guys for putting that feeling into words. i really like the record player effect on the singing in the beggining. rock. |

This is a great song, though it does bear an uncanny resemblence to what happened on september 11th. Kinda weird though because it was recorded the summer before. There's only one possible explaination: bin Laden got a copy of The Inside Trade Agreement and was spinning it one day when he happened to take notice of the line and think "hey, that's a good idea..." Thanks a lot Fighting Jacks. Really. no, seriously though. it's a good song. |
