| I completely disagree with you. Firstly, Chamillionaire never comes off as preachy or whiny IMO. He actually has a way of just cutting through all the bullshit ("never mind Kramer"). I totally agree with with gdinox. The piano is nice, but he needs to work on his voice some more. Then again, I thought the same thing about Rufus Wainwright when I first heard him, but now I'm in love with him.. So Matt Beilis' voice could take some getting used to, also. And the lyrics.. Sure, they're cute, but it's harder to think of bands that *haven't* done songs like this than to think of the ones who have. He can't really be blamed for that, though.. Lyrical originality is dead. All in all, I could listen to it, but it wouldn't be my first choice. He could easily work his way up there, though. Thank you for taking your time and reading this boredom-induced comment! |
