well I was thinking about it...this song is really really complicated...to me anyway. The first part of the song, his point of view is first person. So he's talking about himself or whatever, and when I read it, the first thing I thought was he faced something that made him weak and insecure (like sand). He felt ruined. Parts of him were scattered and he just waited to die (disappearing into the sea). But then I don't know how that would have to do with anything at the end of the song. So I don't really know... |

Well, I always find that usefull when lookin for new bands.

I dunno you guys, it doesn't neccessarily have to be about a "romantic relationship." I think it just can be any relationship with this person that keeps shootin goff their mouth, they say whatever the want, not matter how stupid it sounds, and they get caught up in their words. Basically what you all are saying. But I see how it could be about himself, wanting to get rid of the part he dislikes about himself. It sounds more to me though that it's someone else. I think I agree with punkguitarist. But you never know. Plus, you can't say that just because it says "boy..." you never know, he may be a closet homosexual/bisexual. You just never know. hah. |

I dunno, I think maybe it's saying something like keep your eyes open because the one you're looking for in life is "anyone, anywhere" and you may see him/her a lot and not even know it. I think that the song is about a guy who loves someone, but she wont love him back. And he tries so hard to impress her and does everything he can to win her over, but she doesn't love him. He just wants to hear that she does "oh lie to me, oh love me" So I see what xpankfrisst is saying. |
