I love the part of this song when he says "I fell in love with the dream that I built of you Playing the part of the Queen" because it is so true. You all know what i mean, when you dont really know someone but you think of what it would be like to be with them and you fill in what you dont know with what you want them to be. Just like in Love Song when he says "all my wishful thinking was wrong" they never turn out to be quite as perfect as you'd imagined!

I agree. This song live is amazing! I've heard the rolling in the hay intro but has anyone heard the "i want it that way" intro hes been doing lately? I just saw him and hes absolutely hilarious! I love him! |

I actually just saw John last night and he desribed this song as "falling in love with the absolute wrong person, but having and absolutely amazing time with it" (or something along those lines)...I thing its a beautiful song and idea |

Im not totally sure about this but I read it awhile back. The song is just like what DrZotro said except that the girl supposedly was in love with one of the band members and was pregnant with his baby and the "stop a babys breath" line was referring to the abortion. While the man was virtually unaffected by the abortion the girl felt so bad she "took a weeks worth of valium and slept" referring obviously to her suicide. |
