I like punk in drublic. Yeah. Rock on. Anyway, this isn't my favorite Dashboard song, by all means. But, like all Dashboard schtuff, it's still pretty amazing. Chris kills with his lyrics. And even though I didn't like the Summers Kiss EP very much at all, it would never make me dislike him. |

Everybody has their own perspective on songs, but I think it's about people (teenagers especially) trying to grow up too fast and be "experienced" and "cool" instead of just enjoying each moment. My message from this song is just to be yourself, and don't rush the journey of finding yourself... as corny as that sounds. It's about not trying so hard to fit the mold of what you want to be, and just being, you know? "Youth's the most unfaithful mistress, But still we forge ahead to miss her, Rushing our moment to shine." I love that part. It's all about the Dashboard. :) |

I'm not sure exactly what song it was that Chris played in the middle of this... but I know it was by The Anniversary. So yeah... Chris. live. is. amazing. Everyone should go see Dashboard live. I've seen two shows, and I've never been so blown away. And Chris is just such an awesome guy, because he hung out afterwards both nights and just talked to all of us. He didn't just sign posters or give hugs, he had real personal conversations with anyone that came up and said Hi. Very cool. And you know, I don't mean to sound teenybopperish... but the way he plays guitar and the beautiful lyrics he writes is so very sexy. |
