I completely agree with Dr Fishopolis. It IS like an orgasm. It's wonderful. Perfect. The lyrics are great, but the best part, is the bassline... as many of you have said, it starts out slow and mellow... then eventually it gets intense, and then it gets a little quiet, but grows more intense. It's wonderful. Just more proof that Cuomo is a genius, even if he hates Pinkerton. |

This song... well, it's really rather good. Doesn't get me all teary eyed, but maybe I haven't just taken the time to sit and pay attention to all the lyrics... I always get distracted... but really, this is a great song... I love SoCo... They have a good sound...and all of you bickering over if its emo or not... why the fuck does it matter? It's a good song, and I like it, and it seems a lot of people like it, so why label it? That's like labeling goths and preps... so what? If they're cool and have a good personality, thats all that matters... same with music... i dont care if its emo... i dont care if its punk or rock... if it sounds good, im going to listen to it... and I love this song. |

Her music is poppy as hell, her style is wannabe punk as hell, and i have no clue what her personality is like... and well, im not going to judge her cause i dont know her, buuut...
i like her music a little...
the fact that she's pretty just adds to the desire the music business will have for turning her into another pop artist... or should they even be called artists? i dont know. as long as she writes her own stuff... shes better than britney anyday. |

oh yea, reading a few more messages, I have to add..
It's one thing to dress like a punk, and its another to call yourself a punk. Maybe avril doesnt know the difference? Posers suck, but do any of you know her personally? have you sat down and talked with her to find out if shes preppy/punk/whatever? And does it matter? I'm punk.. but i dont normally dress it...sometimes I dress preppy...dressing means nothing... acting is what makes it all, and as far as i know, i have no proof that shes punk or preppy. |

I didn't read all the posts, but I read a few. I don't really know so far what I think about her. I downloaded her whole album, and some of it is pretty good, some of it is pretty poppy. The song I like most on it is Skater Boy, but only because its the most non-poppy song. I hate pop, but Avril's alright. I hope she doesn't end up like Britney. The first time I saw her, I thought, "Nooo! Not another britney spears..." but then I read what she said about britney, "would you walk down the street in a fucking bra?" yea... so I agree with her on that, but I'm trying to adjust to her music. I hope... HOPE... she ends up being really punky... I wish a girl would get out there and make weezer-ish music, besides That Dog, just someone to be popular with GOOD music. Oy vey. This post is getting off-subject. Oh well. |

I love this song. I didn't think Maladroit would be very good, since the Green album wasn't all that great, but I guess Riv and the gang got their act together... not near as good as Pinkerton. A lot better than Green, I'd say it's about the quality, or a little better, than Blue. |

The thing that caught my attention on this sign was the cello in the background. As a cellist, I automatically fall in love with any song that contains a cello line. I downloaded this song to burn on a CD for a friend and listened to it a couple of times and fell in love with it. After getting over the cello line and actually listening to the lyrics, I liked it even more... a little poppy for my taste, but it's a nice song all in all... if only more artists used cellos in their music... ^_^

usually, a bands first album totally kicks ass, second sucks because they want to please the fans, and third is just completely out of range from the first album... i hope JEW can keep their signature sound throughout publicity and media shit... the business is tough, and artists who can subside it rawk \m/ |

I really like this song... at first, I hated it, simply because it was by Shakira... I suppose maybe I sprang into judging it too early... I downloaded it for a friend and listened to it and I guess the lyrics just seemed to open my mind a little... a far shot from my normal music likings, like Kittie and such. |
