This song isnt about "whiny emo fags." the band has said that themselves. Its about anyone who is feeling down. The 'emo' in the title is simply short for emotion. The message is clearly one trying to pick someone up and let them see whats wrong with how they are acting while being all depressed or in a "rut." Nothing accusitory or violent or derogitory towards emo kids here. |

i wasnt even a huge fan before i read that lyric. that lyric is so brilliant. It IS the song. If you cant feel the power behind that statement then you obviously just cannot relate, so dont put it down, please. If someone such as myself can see it, and you cant, then dont put us down. thanks for enjoying the music. :-) |

Man, I saw this song done live a few months ago at the first show they did after recording in Providence RI. This song was the encore. This song was SO UNBELIVABELY AWSOME that i thought i had died. Nobody had ever heard it before, the power of the beat live, My single most favorite live music experience. |
