I have chosen this as the song to dance with my mother at my wedding in June. It is simply one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Like many previous posters have stated, it comes off as an almost perfect song. It can reduce you to tears of both happiness and joy, make the hair on your arms stand up, move you to do something great! It has always reminded me of my mom because she was a single mom and she had to raise us basically by herself most of the time. She is and has always been so selfless, putting our needs and dreams ahead of hers, always supportive, always THERE....I think that is what this song is getting at. It's a reassurance from parent to child that no matter what you do, no matter how far you might fall, I will always be there. Every person needs that, whether you admit it or not..... |
