I love this song. I used to think it was a love song when i first heard it, but i now see it as a song for someone who has helped ypu cope with something awful in your life, but you didn't realise it til later when it was too late. I think it could either be about someone dying and wishin they would be protected or about someone who needs help now and you're wishing angels would care for them like they cared for you. "if you were with me tonight
i'd sing to you just one more time
a song for a heart so big god wouldn't let it live" is also one of the most beautiful lines i have ever heard in a song and almost gets me crying everytime....x
