Gazed in sideway I dont need them Pay me out to Speaking in panic Till it's right there I wont feel good inside me Tell them the blind now see fine I already come with the mess That you left me on Keep drinks coming Till I feel good Helps me to feel safe while im driving With my lights off I don't feel good inside me Tell them the blind now want to drive Tell me I feel fine I think this song's about a really messed up guy who's been jaded all his life. He just lost everything he had and can now see what the world around him is really like, and is about to do something crazy like driving drunk/blind because he has nothing left to lose. But that's me :). |

This song confuses me. It's like, is it about him losing a girl...? Which is likely considering the beautiful beginning and the heartfelt lyrics...but it also seems like his really weird reaction to secondhand smoke. Is the lost girl "the guest" and the smoke is why she left? Yeah, I'm still confused. He also sings "And you are acting like an idiot" and "This room's a mess, it's looking hideous" in the choruses I believe....awesome song :0) |

I'm probably all wrong here: But I think this song is about the mindless conformity of the people that do music and listen to music for all the wrong reasons. "We started to follow so long ago." Those are the fans that jump on the bandwagon not for the music but for the label that comes with it...he wants to know what this is all about anymore if not the music, and nobody can tell him. And that if the artists don't do what entertains the majority they'll die out and be forgotten. "Kill it fast and kill it while you don't know" They have to get away from the cliques and escape before it destroys them like another hero dead. Yay! And yeah Aaron does sound a little like Kurt. |
