what i find most interesting about this song is the fact that the whole "i believe that lovers should be tied together, thrown into the water in the worst of weather..." part is taken from hammurabi's law code which says if a mans wife is caught in bed she and her lover will be tied up and thrown into the water. it's similar to in "let's not shit ourselves" when he says take an eye for an eye til no one can see. the whole eye for an eye thing comes from hammurabi too |

this song is definitely amazing, i saw jonah a few weeks ago at skate and surf fest and he played so well. he reminds me of what american football was like before they broke up... the only word to describe it is perfect |

"andcaitsaid" i completely agree with you... them playing this song made having to sit through story of the year and the rest of the tbs set worth it. i've seen them six times now and the best show was definitely 2002 when they played with brand new at birch hill it's sad that they've gotten progressively worse |

this song makes me so sad, we have all had those friendships that just fade out because of distance or change or whatever but i think what the song is trying to say is even if we drift apart or whatever happens happens the friendship won't end until we're ready to say goodbye, and in his case he just won't ever say goodbye |
